It Only Takes One Experience to Make a Customer for Life
Customers walk away from every call with a perception of your company that will impact their relationship with you. It only takes one experience to make a difference, that's why they're called "moments of truth." When a customer's expectations are exceeded you might just win a customer for life.
Here's a true story that happened to me: The Gas Station.mp3 (3.8Mb)

Hey Tom (AKA the QA Guy), I'm glad you got to put up a guest post at CallCenterScript today. I serve as associate editor for the Know More Media network and am trying to show my appreciation for those who are contributing.
Ah, those moments of truth. I experience those every day in a way, when people visit my blog. Will they ever return? As you say, it just takes a single good or bad moment or experience to answer that question.
Thanks for letting me visit.
